The sale of replicas of muzzle loading guns, one shot, is carried out for adults upon presentation of a legal identification document (e.g. identity card - passport - firearms license).

The muzzle loading gun, one shot is not subject to be reported to the P.S. and is not considered within the limits established for the possession of common firearms, therefore, they can be held in unlimited numbers.

We remind you that in order to use the muzzle loading gun it is necessary to be in possession of a title (license to carry the gun for hunting - for clay pigeon shooting - for self-defense) which enables the use of guns and the purchase of black powder; in the absence of such title, the muzzle loading gun can only be used at the National Shooting ranges under the responsibility of the range director, after purchasing the black powder at the National Shooting range, to use on site.

The transport of single shot muzzle loading guns, carried out by adopting the utmost diligence, is allowed without any permission, provided that the guns are disassembled, packed and stored in the car's trunk, not immediately available at hand.

PMG

With the acronym PMG, the attention is adressed to the constructive quality of Pedersoli's manufactured barrels . A meticulous choice of materials combined with rigorous quality control leading to the production of a superior class product.

The manufacturing process starts from a solid steel bar going through the first step of the drilling process. The “tube” thus obtained is put on the lathe machine in order to reduce its external size and worked to have a conical development, if this is the case. The internal rifling, from which the accuracy of the gun strictly depends, is ensured by the broaching process. A family of tools, progressively larger in size, go through the inside of the barrels while assembled on the broaching machine. The broaches cut into the material by obtaining a series of helical grooves, guiding the ammunition inside the barrel, forcing it to rotate around its axis, stabilizing its outgoing trajectory.

Depending on the model being manufactured, the outside surface of the partially finished barrel can be milled in order to obtain the classic octagonal shape. The roughness visible on the steel material will be removed through the lapping process, working on the entire length of the barrel with special abrasive stones. This operation will also be made internally for the smooth bore guns. Before delivering to the other working departments, each barrel is subjected to an accurate visual inspection followed by a straightening phase. This operation, called leveling, is indispensable in order to eliminate any irregularity formed by the mechanical stress the material is subjected during the processing cycle.

 INDOOR SHOOTING

Experience the thrill of sport shooting, without the use of gunpowder and with only the propulsive power of the primers, thanks to the conversion nipple code USA068 and the use of special bullets made of polymer resin instead of the usual lead ones. While maintaining realism in the action, the absence of gunpowder significantly limits the expulsion power of the balls and eliminates the development of combustion gases, making the activity usable even in environments that are not properly ventilated. The shot, guaranteed by the ignition of the .209 primer is enough to project the polymer resin ball within a radius of about 10 meters allowing a true simulation of the ordinary shooting action, such to simulate real training sessions. For optimal use of our indoor system please refer to the following table which correlates the caliber of your gun with the most suitable polymer resin ball.
